Will Dove ever learn?
Dove faced a viral backlash this week over it's latest advertising campaign. The brand published an ad on its Facebook page that showed a black woman appearing to turn into a white woman after using its body lotion. The advert then continued to turn the white woman into a Middle Eastern woman.
The advert caused a stir after screenshots of the first changing sequence leading to many accusing the brand of racism and calling for a boycott. The brand issued an apology via their Twitter account.
However, Lola Ogunyemi, the black model featured in the campaign, has defended the advert, which was meant to "represent diversity". She also said, "I think the main issue is the outrage being sparked by screenshots that were posted. It wasn't even the full ad that people had issue with. Because of this, a different narrative has been presented."

ASOS challenges Amazon
Amazon has been trying to compete with major fashion brands by improving its clothing offering over the last few months, including allowing users to try before they buy.
ASOS is rising to the challenge by improving its delivery options. The clothing brand has now launched ASOS Instant, a new same-day delivery service for orders placed before 10am. The bad news is it is only available in London, but the brand plans to expand the service to other UK cities shortly.
Chris Hughes leads viral World Mental Health Day campaign
Love Island reality star Chris Hughes went viral this week after a video appeared online suggesting bottled water would be going on sale at Topman infused with Chris' tears.
However, it was really a stunt for World Mental Health Day encouraging men to not bottle up their feelings.
The clever campaign has its own hashtag, #DontBottleItUp, and was launched with both Topman and CALM, a suicide prevention charity.

The Swift Life is coming soon
Taylor Swift is everywhere at the moment. This week, a teaser was released of the singer's new app called The Swift Life, which is due to launch later this year. The details are still a little hazy, but watch the video below for a sneak preview.
A video of a ghost has gone viral this week. Security cameras in a school in Cork, Ireland caught the spooky behaviour in a hallway. Watch the full video below.
