The position

As Account Director, you’ll be responsible for driving incremental business growth across a range of client accounts. You will collaborate and work closely with key decision-makers to understand their strategic objectives and advise on how our services and products can grow their business.

Fully owning the growth plan of the accounts, and with the support of our team of digital experts, you will be responsible for building trust, educating, solution selling and consulting with clients to ensure they are getting the best possible service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Understand clients’ business requirements and propose strategic solutions to help achieve their goals
  • Identify growth and business development opportunities and advocate for the full range of Search Laboratory’s services and technologies
  • Understand industry trends and provide guidance on how these might impact the client’s business
  • Ensure clients are kept up to date with the launch of new services and products
  • Lead strategic review meetings for campaigns
  • Ensure internal campaign teams understand the client’s commercial goals and objectives
  • Organise meetings and events to build relationships with key client contacts
  • Act as a point of escalation for the client, and facilitate resolution with campaign teams and Heads of Department
  • Make recommendations to the Management Team and Department Managers to improve the customer experience and our service.

What we are looking for

Liaising with key decision-makers and business owners, you’ll be an experienced Account Director with strong digital knowledge. You’ll be commercially focused, solution orientated and an excellent negotiator. You’ll also love to build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and internal teams.

It goes without saying, you’ll be passionate about the industry, you will live and breathe digital, demonstrating a solid understanding of different digital channels.
