This is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive US market knowledge and experience to drive and shape Search Laboratory’s US Content and Online PR client offering. As Content and Online PR Project Manager for the US Market, you will be responsible for improving the company’s approach to digital PR in the US, by overseeing team implementation and using your expertise to maximise the results and quality of our campaigns.
As a skilled digital PR professional, you will be responsible for identifying US market best practice, and ensuring wider department knowledge and skillsets are continuously developed. As such, you will lead by example, owning the US campaign quality assurance process, providing feedback on content quality, approach to promotion, and carrying out client work yourself to outline best practice.
You will understand how to research and source information, creating campaigns that reach and appeal to as wide an audience as possible. To do this you will be adept at navigating the US news agenda and digital landscapes, appreciating trends and speaking to the right influencers to construct credible and newsworthy content.
Our Content and Online PR Project Managers are experts at identifying the right mix of tactics and making strategic recommendations to ensure they achieve client KPIs. They know how to analyse market trends, competitors, and media landscapes to spot opportunities for proactive content creation that results in high quality coverage and powerful backlinks. You will be responsible for helping specialist teams to identify which US publications our clients need to be featured in and what type of content we need to create to achieve client goals.
Digital experience is a must. You will have a proven understanding of how content marketing works online as well as an understanding of how to appeal to different US publications; what makes a USA Today story different from a Washington Post story?
You will be a trusted advisor to our clients and negotiate content strategies, direction, and explain what is and is not possible. You will contribute to Search Laboratory’s growth and success by pitching to existing and prospective clients, acting as a consultant on US digital PR and content.
You’ll have other specialist teams and managers contributing to the success of your team. The project management team help to translate our client’s objectives, the content team identify and deliver the best content medium, and our media and online relations team help to determine the best possible online promotion approach. Together as a client team you work towards improved KPIs such as online visibility, traffic, conversions, online coverage, social reach, and more.
