Digital Analytics Consultant - Entry/Intermediate Level

We are looking for someone with a digital marketing or development background who would love to specialise in web analytics. You don’t need to have worked in web analytics before; it’s the aptitude for working with data that we’re looking for and extensive in-house training will be given. You will have a year of Google Analytics exposure under your belt and will be looking to take this to the next level. You might have an academic or commercial background in software development, formally or informally, or be working in a digital marketing role.

As a Digital Analytics Consultant, you will help our portfolio of clients achieve the best results from their website through the use of analytics. The key elements of this role are:

  • Insights and Analysis: Conducting analysis of analytics data and reports to provide clients and campaign teams with actionable insights
  • Solution Design: Understanding the client’s business and website to propose a customised implementation solution to meets their data needs
  • Implementation Services: Configuring clients Google Analytics software, and its implementation using tools such as Google Tag Manager
  • Implementation Support:  Working with client developers to ensure the correct data is available on the website to enable the required tracking solution.
  • Solution Quality Assurance: Conduct audits of Google Analytics implementations for clients to ensure data accuracy and correctness
  • Digital Consultancy:  Consult and advise at a senior level to provide guidance around data and digital strategy

What we need from you

  • You will be skillful when working with and understanding data and spreadsheets
  • You will have at least one years’ experience working with Google Analytics
  • Experience of Google Tag Manager is highly desirable but not essential
  • Confident communication skills to present to clients and our internal teams
  • You will be able to demonstrate a strong logical and problem-solving aptitude
  • Experience with software (academic or commercial) is highly desirable
  • An understanding of HTML, web technologies and JavaScript knowledge would be beneficial

Job Purpose: As a Digital Analytics Consultant you will be working with a portfolio of clients to help them achieve the best results from their website through the use of analytics. You will work with and provide expert knowledge to the wider team on the features and implementation, whilst supporting and developing the company’s Analytics and Insights offering.
