Junior .NET Developer

This role will suit a Junior .Net Developer looking to learn and develop their skills in a range of the latest technologies, within a supportive and genuinely exciting environment.

What we need from you:

  • Strong communication skills: part of the role will entail supporting existing applications, working with end-users within the business to resolve issues
  • The ability to develop all layers of our key business applications – from robust and scalable database design to the business rules layer and user interface
  • Autonomy: working closely with our Senior developers, you’ll be responsible for the development lifecycle from analysis and design through to testing and maintenance
  • Passion: you’ll be passionate about using software to solve complex problems, and about exploring new technologies

The technology skills required for this role are:

  • C#
  • Entity Framework and SQL
  • ASP.Net / MVC
  • Visual Studio 2017
  • MS SQL Server
  • Cloud platforms, notably Microsoft Azure and/or Google BigQuery

We help clients maximise profit from their website by improving their visibility in search engines such as Google. We are Google Marketing platform partners, giving us access to some of the most advanced tools in the industry. Industry experience is not essential as full induction training will be provided. Search Marketing is a growing industry and you will play a pivotal role in supporting our ambitious growth plans, both in the UK and internationally.

Reporting to: Senior Developer

Job Purpose: To support and maintain existing applications, responding to and logging issues raised by the wider team. To also develop, test and deploy solutions for use within the Search Laboratory environment.
