Social Media Specialist

About the role

Working across an enviable list of international clients and household brands, this exciting role will see you take full responsibility for our clients’ social media channels. This is a great opportunity for the chosen candidate to play a key part in the growth of our social media offering.

In a typical day, you’ll take responsibility for:

  • Effectively managing clients social media channels as per the social media strategy
  • Providing strategic insights on how to maximise content and campaigns across different social media platforms
  • Engaging with clients’ social media communities and manage customer service enquiries across social media
  • Updating and manage clients social media calendars
  • Attending client’s events and gathering micro-content to live post across various social media platforms
  • Setting-up audiences and promoting social media posts to maximise success
  • Working with internal stakeholders to manage Search Laboratory’s social media channels
  • Working with the internal stakeholders to manage Search Laboratory’s blogger outreach channels
  • Using blogger outreach channels to efficiently recruit influencers for PR campaigns and proactively manage influencer relationships

About you:

We’re looking for someone who can be an advocate for our social media offering; you’ll work well within a team and will be able to effectively communicate a strong understanding of the different social media channels and the best approach to distributing content on them.

You’ll have strong written skills, a creative eye, and excellent attention to detail; crafting social media posts that compel consumers to act. You’ll demonstrate a strategic and results-driven approach to campaign plans with an ability to manage budgets and time effectively.

Job Purpose: To take full responsibility for managing client social media channels with the aim to satisfy and retain the client by achieving excellent results every month.
