Search Laboratory have been shortlisted for the Innovation in Paid Search Award for its PPC Bid Management System. The system is unique in the way it optimises campaigns and allows our PPC managers to organise the campaign in a way that reflects search behaviour, rather than in the way that Google defines (around ad groups). This allows fantastic visibility of patterns of search behaviour and enables us to maximise conversions on client sites.
We knew the system was good, but it is very pleasing to be recognised in this way by experts in the industry. Econsultancy is the leading body that promotes best practice in our industry. They launched the industry’s only dedicated Innovation Awards in 2008 to give clients, suppliers and agencies recognition for innovative ideas and success in online marketing. The judges panel is comprised of senior staff at Econsultancy as well as eCommerce leaders from Google, Orange, Apple, Innocent, Dyson and the BBC.
