Company News
Since I started Search Laboratory in 2005, constant evolution has propelled us to become the integrated digital marketing and data business we are today. The next stage in our journey is to join forces with Havas as we announce today how proud we are to be part of Havas Media Group UK.
With Havas Media Group’s support, we are set for future growth and believe this partnership will accelerate the natural progression that we have seen over the past sixteen years.
Havas Media Group is part of Havas Group, owned by Vivendi, one of the world’s largest integrated content, media and communications groups.
Havas Media Group is focussed on creating media experiences that have a meaningful business impact. It delivers this brand promise through the Mx System, where meaningful media helps build more meaningful brands. Clients in the UK and Ireland include Hyundai Kia, BBC, Telefónica, Domino’s and JDE.
As a business, Havas Media Group has very similar values to our own, so our alliance feels like a very natural one. Both companies, and the people within them, care deeply about being respectful to others and the planet; we both have B Corporation assessments pending, highlighting our joint commitment to be accountable for our actions as a business.
This collaboration will open up opportunities for our clients and staff too as our complementary services will allow us to scale our product offerings. Havas Media Group’s expertise in large-scale media experiences will enhance our own performance marketing and data science specialisms to create an offering that spans the whole customer journey for our clients.
As a services business we would be nothing without our people. This is why we champion career development opportunities and strive to make Search Laboratory a fantastic place to work. (Our eight times in the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work For list tells us this is working!) This mentality is shared with Havas Media Group, who also support their employee’s innovative thinking and side hustles and have created programmes such as Femmes Forward to further advance women in senior positions.
We remain as Search Laboratory. Our commitment to staff and clients remains unchanged and our management team stays in place. Our CEO, Chris Attewell, will be joining Havas Media Group’s executive leadership team.
We can’t wait to start our next phase of evolution and unlock the opportunities that this new partnership will bring.
