We have exciting news as we’re expanding our American presence and opening of our second US office in the ever-growing metropolis of Austin, Texas. Since opening our New York office less than a decade ago, we’ve seen continued growth in the US and opening an office in Texas represents the perfect opportunity to build on this momentum and drive further growth in one of the most exciting cities in the USA.
As a Texan native, our Head of Client Services, Laci Wiggins, is thrilled to be moving to Austin in April to begin planting our roots and preparing for an exciting future in the home of the honky-tonk. As part of our growth, we’re recruiting for multiple roles in the area, growing our talent pool and creating several jobs.
After much consideration, we decided Austin, and Texas in general, is the perfect location and an incredibly exciting place for Search Laboratory Inc, our US branch, to grow. So, why Austin? It’d be easier to list the reasons why we wouldn’t want to move there – because there really aren’t any!
Austin is a growing hub for tech companies and has been for some time – it’s even referred to as Silicon Hills. We work with and have built fantastic relationships with tech companies across the US, delivering award-winning digital marketing strategies for businesses across the industry.
Being at the heart of the action will help us to better service these clients and further immerse ourselves into the industry.
Austin is also home to multiple universities, including the University of Texas, home of the Longhorns. This gives us access to a wide pool of talent, not just enabling us to recruit the most promising candidates but providing opportunities for these graduates to begin a career in the digital marketing industry. Hiring the best talent has been hugely important to Search Laboratory since day one and we believe Austin has an unrivalled pool of potential employees who match our ambition.
Logistically, Austin places Search Laboratory in the middle of the Central time zone, making it even easier for our clients across the United States to keep in touch with us during their own office hours and ensuring our expertise is always available. Bringing our team members and clients across the globe together is key to working collaboratively, enabling us to share our knowledge between teams.
As a truly international business, Austin is the kind of cultural hub that we can’t wait to be a part of. The location of our offices is something we’re passionate about, we love nothing more than jumping into local customs and there’s already a buzz in our offices about getting out to Austin to tuck into some of the great craft beer and the world-famous BBQ. Don’t be surprised if you see our Labbers paddle boarding down Lady Bird Lake or enjoying the music at Austin City Limits!
