Paid Media Account Manager

Location: Austin, Texas

We’re looking for an experienced Paid Media Account Manager to join our growing team in Austin. If you have good knowledge cross channel digital marketing across paid search, paid social and display then we would love to hear from you!

The ideal candidate is immersed within the world of performance marketing and eager to join an established global media agency with the feel of a start-up. The role will require you to develop client relationships, handle campaign strategy and execution, and help generate revenue for the business.

You will join an international team of fun-loving, highly sociable digital media fans. The role is based in Austin, working on a wide range of international clients from retail to B2B.

What to expect from the role:

  • Dealing with clients directly and it will be key that you are able to understand their goals and challenges, with a focus on how your channels can assist them.
  • Create and manage paid social and programmatic display campaigns on a variety of real-time bidding platforms across desktop, video, mobile, native etc.
  • Provide specific strategies for direct response and branding campaigns.
  • Take ownership of a portfolio of clients, providing them with a first point-of-contact for all issues related to their account.
  • Work closely with clients to manage their expectations and deliver results aligned with their overall business goals and specific campaign objectives.
  • Work on advertising platforms including Google Ads, DV360, Microsoft Advertising, Yandex, Baidu and Yahoo! Japan
  • Work on paid social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Continually grow and optimize accounts to deliver the best possible results
  • Report to clients with detailed performance analysis, completed actions, recommendations and planned next steps in both the short and long term.
  • Conduct client meetings, delivering insights and strategic advice in a professional manner.
  • Strategize and keep an up-to-date plan for the activity on each account.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the Paid Media and/or International teams.
  • Audit internal and prospective external accounts to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
  • Develop relationships with publishers to create a media portfolio in different verticals to benefit clients and the service as a whole.
  • Be actively involved in the roadmap for service improvement through the research of new partners i.e. Creative, Servers, DSPs and DMPs.
  • Provide assistance to the sales and marketing team, through RFP responses, pitches, projections and any further opportunities to demonstrate expertise in the field.

What we need from you:

  • Experience creating strategies for programmatic, paid social, and paid search platforms
  • Strong experience managing display campaigns (through Display & Video 360 or similar)
  • Strong experience managing social platforms from a paid perspective (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Strong experience managing PPC Campaigns
  • Client-facing work experience
  • Very strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Degree-level education
  • Ability to approach work creatively, analytically as well as strategically
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000
