What is this webinar about?

 

In large parts of the world, the pandemic actually helped to strengthen ecommerce markets. This has mostly been the case for countries with large populations that were experiencing organic growth in internet penetration before the pandemic, but the market shift to online consumption has helped to accelerate this growth.

 

In this webinar, we were joined by Liam Higgins of Google, to show you how you can tap into international growth opportunities ​​and successfully expand into new markets. The webinar also illustrates how to optimise your digital presence when expanding internationally, as well as how you can combine Google’s data with your own insights to create custom market opportunities.

At the time of recording, Liam was the International Growth Specialist at Google, who led the International Growth Program for agencies in the UK and Ireland. His role involved developing scaled initiatives to help cultivate and build an ecosystem of agencies that partnered with Google to support international business growth.

At the time of recording, Anita was a Digital Strategy Specialist at Search Laboratory, and worked closely with global clients to spot opportunities for international growth. Anita managed key strategic projects that included developing insights to create bespoke marketing strategies for new territories. Some of the clients Anita worked on included Appian, Burton Snowboards and Viking.

As of 2023, Anita works as Audience Architect at Havas Media Network.
