Search Laboratory leads at SES, the UK’s leading search marketing conference & expo covering search engine optimisation.
February was the month which hosted one of the biggest conferences within the search marketing industry. As a special Guest Speaker Search Laboratory’s Director Ian Harris spoke about our unique approach to Pay Per Click.
Ian is also speaking at SES New York at the end of March on the topic of Advanced B2B Marketing. This follows our success in the US helping many hi tech clients market their goods and services in the US, Europe and beyond.
Some of the other sessions included were:
‘Analytics into Action’ which stressed the need to read data effectively. It covered the importance of breaking information down into related groups, such as by keyword, and looking for a story behind the information in order to discover the next best steps.
‘Social Media Optimisation’ which covered the impact that services like Twitter, Facebook and Blogs can have on businesses.
Apart from being a forum to promote Search Laboratory, SES provides an excellent platform for mixing with the best in the industry. On the whole everything from search marketing basics to landing pages and beyond was discussed. Each presentation triggered a few interesting ideas as to how we could use advanced techniques to give our clients the “edge”.
